Congress could do 90 percent or more of its job — hearings, meetings, votes, etc. — online, saving billions of dollars and allowing representatives to stay close to the people they are supposed to be representing.
It’s that last part that I’m sure scares them to death. It’s so much better to run off to Washington and hang out with the lobbyists.

I disagree. John Mccain would still be voting today if they didn’t have to be physically present.
