The heck? Maryland is the most secure one of those for the GOP. Republican Larry Hogan is leading Democrat Ben Jealous by an average of over fourteen points. The betting markets have the GOP gubernatorial candidate in Maryland at an 80% chance of victory.

Possible reasons.
He seems to concentrate on State and Local races only, instead of National, State, and Local, like George Soros does.
He also doesn’t seem to concentrate on all of them, just the four listed right now.
He married into his money, unlike George Soros, who earned and created his.
He’s also something relatively new, an African-American Socialist - Communist, so we have little previous experience examining and commenting on the likes of him.
If guys like this take over they will make what happened in Zimbabwe (fka Rhodesia) and is now beginning in South Africa common practice, and there is no doubt in my mind they have “camps” in mind for their victims.

I think Kevin Kamanetz was expected to be the nominee and others like Jealous just ran to give the illusion of a primary race. Then Kamanetz goes and dies.
