They don't have the votes to deny Kavanaugh so they're milking the show for drama points.

Bottomline, Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed! This is a man that grabbed my heart with his account of his community service and his Christian perspective. No doubt whatsoever he will be a great, great Supreme Court Justice!
Televising....is just pure politics. No reason for it. The People are not voting for him.
The Senate is doing their job....advise and consent.

I thought McConnell was making a big mistake scheduling the confirmation so late, close to the midterm elections. I knew the commiecrats would make a big show of it, hoping to enrage, activate their voters for the midterms. However the way it’s turning out, the D antics are soooooo disgusting, outrageous —- that maybe they’ve turned on ten percent of their voters — while turning off everyone else. It looks like McConnell called this one perfectly ?
I didn’t have the time or inclination to watch all of these hearings, but I did find Ted Cruz’s questioning of Kavanaugh on YouTube. I highly recommend watching it.
You’ll see 30 minutes of insightful discussions of the role of the judiciary, the significance of various constitutional amendments and the importance of free speech and religious liberty. Every few minutes you’ll hear this discussion being interrupted by some paid Democrat protester shouting meaningless slogans.

The Dems picked the wrong guy try and denigrate, Judge Kavanaugh made several look like fools.
Well stated Jim with all of their comments and talks about the Constitution being a “living” (read keeping up with the times and mores) document they are seeking to claim or steal it from it’s position and legislate in this case from the bench.
Speaking as someone whose family left Europe to escape the tyranny of Monarchs and have freedom of thought and faith I will never bend my knee or bow to their demands.
They are in my estimation too clever by more then half and assisted by the real low info voters who seek Government over God they want to be worshiped and acknowledged as His replacement.
Not gonna happen, just as you named this site FreeRepublic that is what we are moving back to and will be again.
