If your key doesn’t work, would you not maybe think to look and make sure you’re at the right door??
So she forced the door to someone else’s apartment and shot the resident. That awfully resembles a burglary that “went wrong.” The nonworking key should have made her step back and study the situation before she broke in. The instant resort to firepower is why women should not be police officers, at least not patrol and responder cops. Maybe she doesn’t do desk work very well.
