It doesn’t matter any way. Even if the process somehow started, the President could just send them a letter saying he is fine and the whole thing is done.

If you’re talking about the 25th Amendment, the Senate has nothing to to with it. It is NOT impeachment, it is the removal of the President for health reasons (including mental health) by the Cabinet. It was passed in the aftermath of the JFK assassination, under the assumption that we couldn’t have a crippled President while facing a potential nuclear Pearl Harbor from the Russkies.
