Ace Magashule calls for land expropriation, tells Trump to back off (Nelson Mandela's heir)

ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule says only land expropriation without compensation will help achieve the country’s goals. He was speaking before Parliament begins four days of land reform presentations from experts and civil society groups. Magashule warned US President Donald Trump to respect South Africa’s sovereignty.

ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule has outlined the brutality of white rule in South Africa and called on citizens to unite behind the ANC and its efforts to expropriate land without compensation to address poverty and inequality.

Magashule was speaking in Sebokeng on the 34th anniversary of the 1984 Vaal uprising and said expropriation without compensation was necessary to introduce “radical socio-economic transformation” and address the legacies of colonialism and apartheid.

“The only way of achieving the objectives for the building of a non-racial, non-sexist, democratic and prosperous society is to ensure that we expropriate the land without compensation and therefore empowering the majority of our people, the black people in general and the Africans in particular, into the ownership of the commanding heights of our economy,” read his prepared speech.

“Our people need land to better their own living conditions.”

Magashule, quoted by TimesLive, said, “We have been building their [white people] roads‚ their houses‚ working their farms. It’s time for a black person now to own land and farm.”

The ANC secretary-general called on South Africans to unite and support land reform efforts. He criticised those opposed to expropriation without compensation.

“We therefore make an appeal to the international community and especially the President of the United States of America, Mr Donald Trump, to respect the territorial independence and integrity of our nation state and therefore give the people of our country the opportunity to resolve their own problems in line with the concrete realities of our own situation,” he said.

Two weeks ago Trump tweeted that he had asked US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to study “farm seizures and expropriations and the large -scale killing of farmers” in South Africa, drawing widespread criticism.

“We are appalled by the determination of those forces opposed to the transformation of our country, to undermine our collective effort to resolve the socio-economic contradictions imposed on our people by centuries of apartheid colonial domination,” said Magashule.

The debate over land expropriation without compensation will continue in Parliament this week as the joint constitutional review committee on amending Section 25 of the Constitution will hear presentations from experts and interest groups from Tuesday to Friday, September 4-7 2108.

The committee will hear 30 oral submissions emanating from more than 700,000 written submissions on the issue. The selected organisations or individuals were chosen after they indicated they wanted to make oral submissions.

“This is a broad spectrum of participants and is indicative of the interest across the board in the subject matter,” said committee co-chairperson Lewis Nzimande. The programme includes academics, agricultural associations, religious groups, civil society and financial-sector representatives.

The oral hearings in Parliament come after the committee travelled the country to hear citizens’ views. They are likely to see vastly different opinions raised; on Wednesday, Black First Land First will be followed by the Orania Movement and the Afrikanerbond.

The EFF and ANC agreed in Parliament to establish the committee on amending Section 25 of the Constitution, but the parties differ on how expropriation of land without compensation should be implemented.

The EFF wants all land to be nationalised while ANC has attempted to quell concerns about land grabs and focused on using expropriation to accelerate the current system of land reform to increase black ownership of land.

“As a matter of necessity, our people deserve security of tenure. That can only come through property title deeds and land ownership,” said Magashule on Monday.

His speech focused largely on the struggle against apartheid and the brutal attempts to suppress it — 142 people died and thousands were arrested in the months of the Vaal uprising. He also called on ANC members to help the party win an “overwhelming majority” in the 2019 elections.

“The ANC is the only formidable organisation with the capacity to transform the living conditions of the people of our country. The ANC remained “the leader of the future struggle of our people”, said Magashule.

Private Property Rights is a Western Civilization concept.
There can be NO individual prosperity without this Right.

Trump should offer White South African Farmers “sanctuary” here. I know it’s awful to contemplate, but Whites are on borrowed time in SA, and they should leave now, because in less than a decade, it will sink to being just another $hit hole Black-run African country. Most of the Blacks in SA couldn’t run a shoe shine stand either here or there, and when the “white prosperity” withers, the Blacks are going to be looking for a scapegoat and they are not going to be looking in the mirror.

They were much better off under white rule.

It’s just a simple, sad fact.

It seems they cannot govern themselves sanely.

Rhodesia Part 2. Let the starvation begin. Trump should promise right now ZERO help when it happens.

These savage despotic bastards need to consecutively and ‘mysteriously’ drop like flies until maybe, maybe, one or two with a conscience are found to actually make an effort

First, they will come for the farmers, who feed the nation and its people, which means they will rely on US food aid. Second, they will nationalize the gold, diamond and other metals mines, who earn essential foreign exchange which means there will be even more unemployment. Third, they will go after the private property (nice homes, wineries, etc.) owned by non-farmers, which means get your money out of the country. Fourth, when they have chased them out, they will go after the Asians who are already being targeted by the Marxist Malema which puts an end to much of the merchandising. Fifth, they will go after the mixed race people, who are always an easy target for demagogues. Sixth, the various tribes that are leftover will fight each other in savage ethnic strife. Finally, when the country is exhausted, people of talent and accomplishment have been run out, there is widespread famine, and total anarchy, China will step in and offer to operate the mines with basically slave labor, no environmental protections and the payment of a few bribes to the ruling class fascists.

I believe that there is plenty of land in SA for blacks to homestead, but they are looking to steal existing productive farms. The obvious will happen.

In future years, just like in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), the once prosperous agriculture sector will be reduced to wasteland and the country will be starving.

Lost on many is that SA was empty of people except for small bands of wandering Pygmies. Boer settlers tamed the wilderness and built productive farms which drew in native African tribesmen (Bantu) from the north. Now centuries latter these tribesmen want to steal these farms from the people that made them.

Disaster awaits....

Read Michener’s “The Covenant” an excellent historical perspective on the settling of SA, the Orange Free State, and Rhodesia......

Right— respect the sovereignty of South Africa— after obamaumao went there for a paid speech in PRAISE of the ANC government’s “reforms” inclusive of the taking land owned by Boers since the 1600’s before any tribes ever came there. The breadbasket of South Africa.

Even if they take all the land, and give it to their cronies (who don’t have a clue how to farm)— it will not “correct” economic equality— and it is not intended to do so. It is intended to gain wealth for the commie thugs who will steal it. And bank the proceeds in Switzerland— just like Mugabe.

I imagine the farmers can see what’s coming but I read in another article about two things that compounds the problems for them:
1) the government is only willing to pay them 10% of the market value of the land, and
2) they can leave but they can’t take their money with them.

DeBeers is already thinking ahead to when the ANC cronies confiscate the mines.

DeBeers Breaks Ground on Synthetic Diamond Factory in Oregon.

Plus if rumor is true that Debeers keeps diamonds artificially high by controlling the supply all the diamonds they have stored around the world can be flooded into the market and destroy the market.

Could someone do a pastiche of a BLU 109 hitting Luthuli House (ANC HQs in Jo’berg). Just a suggestion.

Where are the Ivy League schools on this issue?

Surely you jest in asking this question. They stand with the Bolsheviks in their exercise of extreme measures to protect the revolution from the bourgeois capitalist elite and create the first workers paradise on earth outside of Caracas and Cambridge Massachusetts.

You don’t see much about the fate of the blacks who work on those farms. I understand they have a higher standard of living than their “brothers” and will suffer accordingly when the farms are taken from the whites. The same happened up in Zimbabwe.
