Duncan Hunter for campaign violations and Chris Collins of NY for insider trading, both charges political and made just at the time it would be too late to recover with a defense or for other candidates that could jump in and finish with wins.
DOJ rigged it.

Collins was on a pharmaceutical company Board of Directors and was told via email an experimental drug for MS had done poorly in drug trials. Within 15 minutes of that email he called his son, and his son proceeded to sell thousands of shares of the company’s stock over the next 2-3 days as did his fiancee’s father.
If Collins tipped his son off to sell the stock, he’s in trouble for sure. I’m not sure that charge is political.
