I wonder what the servers who took a stand for their beliefs now think of their current leftist clientele who are notoriously bad tippers, if they tip at all.
Bad tippers indeed. Somebody once wrote about going to a diner with a radical acquaintance. When the check came, the leftie left a tip of sixty five cents. The writer leaned over and said, “Bill, you know Trotsky never tipped”.
“You’re right” the radical replied, and retrieved his coins off the table.
