there are several ways to get around the WSJ paywall; not all work all the time though:

1. noscript extension with firefox, where ones disallows scripts from WSJ ... that one works the best most of the time

2.temporarily switching browsers

3. google searching the headline and then clicking the link

4. combining more than one above

but bypassing the WSJ takes determination and knowledge that most probably don’t have, so I definitely see where you’re coming from ...
