oh also. I wanted to comment on the USMC battles with the Chinese in Korea. Do you think Americans can fight like that again? I am skeptical for several reasons. It will take some major “boot camps” to wake these snowflake millennials up and get their head out of their.....cell phones. If we draft again, I cant wait to see us break that glass ceiling and call up these little 18 year old girls.

Partner, the USMC will take care of its own folks and they will be ready if ever called to fight a huge war like they did in North Korea.

Partner, I understand your concerns since we really have not had a good military for a long time but we are slowly getting back control of our military thanks to President Trump.

The Secretary of Defense as you know is General Mattis and he came up thru the ranks to be the general of the USMC and he was chosen by President Trump to get our military into readiness mode.

The Army and Navy need some major retraining on the matters that you have brought out.

Our Air Force and Coast Guard folks should be o.k.

We would have lost a lot of men had it not been for the USMC during the Korean War. The Chinese were basically fighting for the North Koreans and this is why they sent in so many Chinese divisions and I think it was either 18 Chinese divisions or 21 divisions or maybe even more.

Our USMC from the 1st Marine Division were battled hardened veterans from WWII and they put a hurt on these Chinese Divisions.

The American public was scared that this 1st Marine Division was lost to the Chinese.

I read where USMC General O.P. Smith was asked about the USMC retreating and Gen. O.P. Smith told the reporter "Hell, we are not retreating, can't you see we are fighting the Chinese in every direction right now to get the heck out of North Korea." General O.P. Smith was not asked this question ever again.

We should not let the POTUS run the wars as we have done in the Korean War. Let the generals fight the wars and Americans will get the necessary training to be ready to fight!!!

Most of the knowledge I have gotten in the Korean War is by reading a book called "Cold as Hell". This book is written by USMC guys who actually fought in this Korean War.
