She had a technicians license. Almost no HF priviliages. You do not learn morse quickly. Although is is not difficult to get a higher license.
It is possible she used a VHF or UHF to web portal to talk through the internet.
OR she might have simply done here talking on simplex, which could have gone undetected for short distances.
I’ve yet to see anyone make a good argument for how Ham Radio could help her. (I hold an Amateur Extra and Commercial Radio license)

If it was no help. Why did a middle aged lady get a ham license? She didnt need a license to listen.

Same here. I hold an Amateur Extra license, and when I worked for a radio station held a First Class commercial ticket (long since expired). It would have been possible for Ohr to use ham radio to communicate with a fellow conspirator, but since anyone can listen in, it would almost have had to be encrypted in some way. It would mean using innocent-sounding words that had a different meaning in a code book. Any evidence of that? Simply holding a ham ticket is pretty weak evidence of a conspiracy.
