ST. LOUIS • St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner will no longer accept criminal cases from 28 city police officers and is reviewing any open cases they handled for “viability.”
Gardner delivered the list of officers to the police department Tuesday, calling it an “exclusion list,” according to documents obtained by the Post-Dispatch.
A written statement from Gardner said, in part, that prosecutors have “the responsibility to defend the integrity of the criminal justice system. Police officers play an important role in the criminal justice system, and the credibility of officers is one of the most important attributes of the job.”

It could be that some of them have proven themselves liars, or have fabricated evidence and she’s giving them a break by not prosecuting them.
If their testimony repeatedly does not hold up in court, it’s an issue.

Well, if these 28 have integrity issues, they should be fired. More prosecutors should do this.
St. Louis had 205 murders last year for 308,000 people. That’s literally a warzone level of violent deaths. I’m actually surprised that St. Louis has any law enforcement whatsoever - it’s clearly not doing any good enforcing the actual laws...

Well, if they’re Russian saboteurs, they should be locked up. I’ve the same amount of evidence that they’re saboteurs as I have that they lack integrity...NONE.
