If you mean ‘my’ headline it took me 10 min to cut it down to be able to fit the posting guideline of 100 letters, symbols...or less.

FR doesn’t allow changing the headline, in an attempt to prevent duplicate threads that dilute the discussion and eat bandwidth.
The remedy most people choose is to put as much of the headline as you can fit, with [tr] at the end, meaning “transected.” Then, at the opening line of your post, put the words “Complete title:” and post the complete title before the excerpt.
I might add, if this method makes the headline unintelligible, you can always ping a bunch of your FRiends to spread the thread, especially freepers you’ve noticed who run big pinglists.
