Come again? how does poverty, stigma and discrimination cause STD's? does it come in an envelope only poor people get thru the us mail? And there used to be a stigma about having sex outside of marriage and multiple partners. Sounds like a lack of stigma attached to sex. And discrimination? huh?? how does that work?? I agree the rise in drug use is the only factor mentioned that has caused a rise in std's not associated with the oversexualization of todays teens.

Stigma is something those with ‘social’ diseases want to go away. And no penalties for not giving your partner informed consent about aids, syph, herpes, or hep
