The ANC has threatened to seize the Zulu homelands. The Zulu homeland is equivalent to 28,000 square kilometres, or 10,811 square miles, and is administered by Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini.
Zwelithini has threatened violence and war against the ANC. Have also read that Zulus make up 80% of the South African military.
How do these factors play into the land grab?
Now if the whites and the Zulus would figure out that they are, in this particular case, natural allies and combine forces (political and otherwise) against the ANC, then they’d both have a much better shot at staying in their land of birth and leading a somewhat normal life.
I’ll ask him, he never mentioned it before, but I don’t know how close that is to him either.
