Kirsten Sinema is the enemy. Martha can beat her.
Flake was a despicable POS, he was McCain’s b*tt boy 100 percent. I don’t believe Martha will be worse than Flake.
Flake and his allies will probably be working in the background to help Sinema win. They want to have hard evidence to back the claim that Trump is bad for the country and for the GOP in particular, and losing an incumbent Senate seat in a GOP-leaning state would help do the trick for them.
And of course, we have the usual “true conservatives” who want to help them do that.
Talk about damning with faint praise!
Some info that might help you stress a little less...
According to 538.com, here are the Trump-scores for each...
Martha McSally 97.8% (2 years in the House, AZ-2), 42nd of 435 in the House1
Kirsten Sinema 60.9% (2 years in the House, AZ-9)... FOURTH highest of all Dems!! Higher than 2 Republicans. Even if she wins, it isn't the worst news possible. The most-pro-Trump Dems winning is still moving them to the Right. That's not all bad.
Jeff Flake 83.3% and John McCain 83.0%... only 4 GOP Senators were lower... Lisa Murkowski, Mike Lee (UT), Susan Collins, and Rand Paul. Both Flake and McCain are gone. So is Corker (TN), who was just behind the 2 of them. That's 3 of the 7-worst Senators gone, in one season.
(Collins votes with Trump 32.8% higher than the "Independent" Senator from Maine, King... 79-46.)
Rand Paul has his schtick as Dr No. We get it.
For Murkowski, the other Alaska Senator votes with Trump 11.2% more (93-82)... for Utah, retiring Orrin Hatch votes with Trump 15% more than Mike Lee (96-81).
Replacing Hatch with Mitt Romney will be a tragedy, though.
(By the way... Pelosi has a Trump score of 20%, and Schumer and Feinstein are up at 25%. I figured they'd be closer to Warren's 9% or Bernie's 10%)
