Attorney Lanny Davis says he was an anonymous source in a July CNN story that reported his client, Michael Cohen, had privately claimed that President Trump had advance knowledge of the infamous Trump Tower meeting between his son and Russians — contradicting Davis's own words on CNN's air last week.
In the story, Cohen was reported to claim he had personally witnessed Donald Trump Jr. informing then-candidate Trump about the June 2016 meeting. Such a claim from Cohen would directly contradict Trump’s statements about his knowledge of the meeting, where Russians were set to offer dirt on Hillary Clinton.
CNN’s July 26 story has come under fresh scrutiny in recent days after Davis acknowledged he had served as an anonymous source for multiple news outlets who were seeking to confirm the CNN article in the hours after it published. Davis has backed away from the story in recent days, telling the Washington Post that he is not certain if the claim is accurate, and that he could not independently corroborate it.

Trump and Cohen have both been trolling the media -- using Lanny Davis as the unwitting dupe to carry the story to them.
Imagine that. LMAO.
I've come to that same conclusion. Cohen is a hero! He was getting the screws laid to him. He made up a bunch of stuff that he KNEW was false in order to plead guilty to some stupid stuff. The "campaign" stuff he pled to was nothing...and he never claimed Trump was the "Candidate". He just said "candidate". So the media and Lanny Davis look like a bunch of liars, Cohen is clear, and Trump ends up smelling like a rose.
The Watergate red diaper baby damsel Carl Bernstein has been pushing this line, which turns out to be yet another lie. So, the idea that this is another Watergate that they hope will force Trump out sounds more like “History repeats itself - the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce”.

Recipient “confirms” info with guy who made it up in the first place.

Would take at least 10 years to put this whole Russiagate story, and the tangential stories together into a book. That book would end up being 200,000 pages long. The movie would take years to make, and the movie itself would be 100 hours long, and the twists and turns and mysteries and enigmas and cast of characters, would send a lot of people to psychiatrists to help them get their minds cured from all the insanity that they had witnessed on screen.

confusing and boring. I’m beginning to just tune it out.
Today’s new trade deal with Mexico, or the fact that Black Business Ownership has jumped significantly in the last year, some say as high as 400%, that is the type of news I’d say is worth thinking about.
