Chris White reported that Zimbabwes land confiscation effort destroyed the countrys once thriving agricultural sector. White did not mention that Zimbabwe is suffering from a severe drought. Weather forecasters predict similar conditions in all of southern Africa after the last white farmer leaves or is murdered. Many of these South African farms were established on uninhabited land.
The land only became usable for farming, when the farmers created irrigation systems and built dams.
Without competent people to maintain the water systems, South Africa will quickly revert to the wasteland it was before white settlers arrived.
