Among the endless encomiums for John McCain on todays Morning Joe, one stood out: Andrea Mitchell lavishing praise on McCain for, together with John Kerry, giving political cover to accused draft dodger Bill Clinton. Mitchell:
One of the most sterling parts of his character is the way he grew and changed and reached not just across the aisle but across huge gulfs. And I am really struck by what I was covering back in the 90s, which was the growing relationship when I was covering the Senate between John Kerry and John McCain, not likely partners on anything when they first joined hands on that POW/MIA Commission in 90/91 in the Senate and then decided on a long flight to Kuwait that year to join together across their divide over Vietnam and make peace, help Bill Clinton eventually in 95.
. . .
Together they gave political cover to an accused draft dodger back in the day when that almost derailed his campaign in the primary in 1992, aside from the other stuff that happened. That was just such a big gesture. I cant even imagine what it took for John McCain to stand up for Bill Clinton in 1993 when he was under fire and help him satisfy the Joint Chiefs and satisfy all the veterans groups who were out there. I was there on Memorial Day in 1993 at the Vietnam Memorial, and Bill Clinton was being screamed down by groups we did a piece that night. And by two years later, he was able to normalize relations with Vietnam.

Andrea Mitchell Hails McCain for Giving Cover to Accused Draft Dodger Bill Clinton
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Odds that Mitchell would ever lavish praise on a Dem for giving political cover to a Republican?
...and helped bring all of this evil upon us. Someone has to say something negative about a man who caused so much suffering here. He can not be allowed off due to the circumstances of death.
To clarify, according to Mitchell, McCain gave “cover” to Clinton after he had been elected in 1992. So it didn’t help him defeat George H.W., but might have helped him defeat Dole, etc.
And let’s not forget that Clinton skated in ‘92 on being a draft dodger, while H.W., who lied about his age to get into the Navy, was the youngest fighter pilot, got shot down, etc., was branded as a “wimp.”
The media ALWAYS praises Republicans who say nice things about Democrats, and/or attack other Republicans.
McCain loved doing both, so they gave him enough face time to choke a horse.
Au Contraire. Both men hated this country because of Vietnam. They were globalists who supported America Last. They were natural partners.
And now Clinton is old and pathetic and Mr. McCain is beyond things human and earthly...
Traitorous birds of a feather, Andrea.
Whereas the MSM would treat a Democrat praising a Republican would like a traitor.
See, for example, the treatment that Joe Lieberman got for speaking at the 2008 RNC when McCain was the candidate.
<><> saved by McCain who defended his draft dodging
<><> saved by feminists who defended his getting lewinskied
<><> saved by Hillary and her tax-paid " WH Bimbo Eruption Team"
<><> saved by Hollywood who paid his sex mess legal bills.
Shes one ugly non-American.
Andrea Mitchell, just laying it all out, the deep state connections between the elite players. There are no Republicans and Democrats in their world. Its all an illusion for the masses.
Odd, isn’t it that when you kiss tail like McCain did and provide “cover” for “accused” draft dodgers like Clinton, you have “grown” in the estimate of such “objective journalists” such as the aging Mitchell. McCain shrank, just like the guy in the 1950s movie, in my estimation. The lavish praise the Dems and their media allies are laying on McCain reminds me of leftist friends who love old man Bush - they don’t like him because he’s a Republican, but because he was utterly ineffectual as president, repudiated much of the Reagan agenda, and really would rather fraternize with the Dems than what he and Barbara called privately, “them” which is us, except at Election Time.
John Kerry was in Vietnam? Are you sure? /sarc.
Being from Cincinnati, we followed the Keating Five Scandal with vigor. So, as early as 1989 McKook was identified to us as bent, but too big to be in jail.
McCain died as a thin skinned Republican elitist, doing bitter things to President Donald Trump who is a great man elected for and by the People. McCain was Obama’s dimmi , doing Obama’s bidding to support the jihad and ISIS.Obama used McCain like a common street whore who was left giggling because she had a few extra campaign bucks in her purse. McCain clad himself in the our flag to actually betray our country. And IMHO McCain knew exactly what Obama was using him for.
McCain was a decent enough politician until he lost the 2002 GOP presidential nomination to GW Bush. After that he was incredibly bitter. That is when he should have retired in 2002 because subsequently he was an agent provocateur to the GOP and actually sometimes engaged in treasonous activity internationally. He was strangely quiet on the Benghazi fiasco, when he could have led the charge.
One lurid example of McCain’s treasonous conduct was the bogus arms deal he brokered in Syria with the Magic Negro’s help, about 500 million dollars of small arms to a Syrian group of rebels of about 12 men who McCain had met for a photo op.The arms were sold on the black market in Syria as fast as they arrived, to ISIS and the Jihad, later to be used against our US soldiers and allies. The arms dealers in McCains pocket tickled his scrotum on that one, and McCain once again became Obama’s dimmi. Most Americans do not even know about this fiasco or the methods Obama used to support the jihad instead of fighting it.Obama used McCain to actually support ISIS.

McCain did little or nothing to help the cause against liberal fascism ,promoted and implemented by Obama.McCain could have been heroic in 2008 campaign but he fizzled, his powder wet instead of dry. Therefore the left now cynically lauds Senator McCains life, the way that Muslims laud their dimmis.
