I half suspect he is faking the whole brain cancer thing until his criminal acts in that drama blow over.
The McCain death watch started after he couldn’t remember which leg to put his walking cast on. People started wondering if he really hurt his leg so he upped the ante to keep the sympathy coming.
We haven’t seen him since last December so no one knows if he is just a piece of meat hooked to a respirator and being fed through a tube. Or if senility has just got the best of him. The only thing for sure is that the timing of his exit is being orchestrated for political purposes.

Generally you wait until the decedent actually croaks before offering condolences.
His mama taught him, if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all, and don’t speak ill of the (nearly) dead.
What would CNN have him say ? They want him to be a hypocrite like everyone else in official Washington?

If Trump were to say something negative, it would capsize the entire news cycle, and move focus on to this outrage after the outrage of Cohen and Manafort.
