Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz said Michael Cohen, President Donald Trumps former attorney, is pleading guilty to a crime that doesnt exist to further Democrats plans to impeach the president. He offered his analysis during a Wednesday interview with Breitbart Senior Editors-at-Large Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak on SiriusXMs Breitbart News Tonight. I dont think theres an impeachable offense, said Dershowitz. I believe you need to have a specific crime treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors and none of the things that [Michael] Cohen pleaded guilty to would rise to that level or even come close to it. What Cohen pleaded guilty to may not even be a crime, the part about the election campaign laws.

The old saw that if you want a friend in Washington, get a dog, was never more true.
Dershowits is right, but, democrats know it too.
What democrats have been doing is creating the perception of “high crimes and misdemeanor”, and making sure that all of their media outlets (meaning their propaganda machine, the liberal press) gets the word out, far and wide. It’s about winning back the house, and perhaps even the senate (where the senates is almost an impossibility for them). But, they need to try, and so, they don’t care that there were no laws broken, it’s about the perception that they need to create about a crooked executive.
Lanny Davis wasn't the lawyer who signed it with Cohen.
Also Sessions and Rosenstein. They had to have approved it, or at least known about the charges before hand. Just by allowing them to charge someone with a non-crime, they should be fired.

Because they want to impeach Trump (theyre hoping to win in November) then Cohen will never go to court. Charges will be dropped.
“He may be a liberal, but he is an honest liberal.”

They are excruciatingly rare. Camille Paglia is another, though her premises are often wrong.
