"Every engineering workshop around the country that use shaping metal in their trade will have a lathe like this one. It's used to to manipulate metal, make it rounded.

"It would also be used to create the slots for bullets in the cylinder of an older, traditional handgun and would be used to form the barrel of a gun.

"The milling machine - the machine on the right - would be used to very accurately create grooves on the outside of the gun.

We can't have people going around making grooves and slots and manipulating metal. Ban lathes! Ban milling machines!

Dumbasses. I see nary a 3-D printer in sight. Besides, they must not have gotten the memo about GUN FREE ZONES. Will Bridgeport machine tools be banned now? CNC machines?

And for each one like this they catch and shut down, there are very likely many others still in business. And also consider the amount that this one probably already added to the underground inventory of firearms for criminals. They do not have to be expensive Olympic grade target shooting pistols or rare collectors items or family heirlooms that were confiscated during the Snowdrop charade (following the murders in Dunblane, Scotland) twenty years ago.

What are they thinking? You can’t own guns! Only government can protect itself!

A source told The Telegraph no 3D laser printers were found in the industrial unit....

Thank God! Who knows what mayhem they would have caused with single shot plastic guns.

They also apparently have Vietnamese child slaves working in marijuana factories, right in downtown London. Many of them likely entered the country illegally with their ‘parents’.

I know more than a few Brits who have immigrated to Canada... Why leave the old county I asked them?

'Because' they said 'We need to have bars on our doors and windows and can't go out at night, due to the violence brought into England by foreign gangs.'

They said is was now a complete nightmare to live in Birmingham, and they had to get out of their country.

Sad but true, the question is... With a fool like Trudeau in charge and welcoming illegal immigration, how long can Canada hold out? Next stop, New Zealand?

We can't have people going around making grooves and slots and manipulating metal. Ban lathes! Ban milling machines!

The late Philip Luty demonstrated that safe, workable firearms could be constructed of common materials available at plumbing and hardware stores. No lathes or mills required. The Brit authorities ended up arresting him over it.

Looks like my garage/shop? Only way smaller.
I sold my milling machine, still have the lathe, should I plan a lake cruise with my lathe?

Illegal guns need to be made super-ultra-mega illegal. That will deter the criminals from making them.

I’ll take that Bridgeport of their hands for 20 bucks... 30 if they’ll deliver.

Do those arrested have prior criminal records?
Was there any indication that they planned to use these weapons in some illegal fashion?
Is there any indication they were selling these guns to violent criminals?

My guess...no, no and no.

Move them and their stuff to the US (not CA, WA or NY) and they’d open a business. If their work was any good, they’d make a decent living. Instead...they’re criminals.

This trend is happening here too. A few years from now when they get into my basement and pry open a few doors, then I will be a criminal too.

Sten guns were engineered to be “assembled in any garage.”

WW II resistance fighters in some places (like Denmark) made their own submachine guns. Still amazes me gubbermint folk think they control machines, and the people who run them.
