Kick hawaii the hell out of the union! It shouldn’t be a part of it at all! It practices racial discrimination. If you aren’t a native hawaiian you are treated like $hit.

Best suggestion of the day.

Then all of their expensive Government degrees can come into play as they solve each and everyone of PR’s problems, just as they have solved all problems in Atlanta, Baltimore or Chicago ...

err, nevermind.

Typical Leftist. She believes that native Hawaiians (People of Color) are too stupid to take care of themselves and need a White person to do it for them. This is an acknowledgement of the superiority of the White race.

Yes. And let’s give back the western US as well. And the South. You know, we weren’t really entitled to steal New England from the natives, either.

We are allowed to stay in England aren’t we?

Well, so long as the UN restores Georg Friedrich to the German throne, I suppose something could be worked out with regard to Hawaii.

But what about the Polynesians that stole Hawaii from the Tahitians?

This story illustrates the deep rooted problem in America: democracy doesn’t not mean ruling. Instead it becomes pretext of not ruling. This elected official is obviously concerned more about some international laws than exercise her public duty to rule. What a tragedy

“The letter included a Feb. 25 memorandum from an independent expert to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights that characterized the Hawaiian Islands as a “sovereign nation-state in continuity; but a nation-state that is under a strange form of occupation by the United States resulting from an illegal military occupation and a fraudulent annexation.”

It looks like there may be room on the public square for a musket-holding “Silent Ekewaka” statue in Hawaii’s future.

Y’all were conquered. Lots of people have been conquered. If the Lord tarries long enough more will be. Frankly, human history is a long tale of poop happening.

In the meantime you aren’t being forced into ghettos or made to be second class citizens.

Yes, land prices are elevated ... so oppose all inheritance taxes on non-fungible assets for Citizens of the United States as well as removal of property taxes to the extent that they may exist. Those two things would really help to protect less affluent land owners while the wealthy would hardly notice.

I was stationed in Hawaii and lived off post for awhile. Everyone there seemed to be on food stamps because of the high costs of food. Cut them loose and they can go back to poi, sugar cane and pineapple and whatever they get out of the ocean.

So she is acting as a spokesperson for the native Hawaiians without their consent. Seems to me like a form of cultural appropriation.

The fascinating thing about this whole subject is that there is no such thing as international law. Never has been, never can be.

When was the last time that "international law" prevented a World War? A holocaust? A genocide?
Name one!

Little men with giant heads, powerless without the financial and military support of superpowers. The wielders of the "bigger sticks."

Those little men (and women) have never chosen wisely.

Humans can't even be trusted to keep minor agreements like trade agreements, border agreements, anti-piracy agreements, human rights and so on.

And we are gonna listen to some two bit “professor” that has dreamt up this who concoction, while on the public dime?

How far back do we go? To the Romans, the Greeks, the Hittites ...?

Cro-Magnon Man or the Denisovians?
