My aunt married a Czech scientist who was visiting Johns Hopkins University during the Prague Spring. She was working as a research assistant there. They went back to Prague & her first child was 3 months old when the Soviet tanks rolled in.
They would probably approve of the same thing regarding Poland/Ukraine.
It is one of the most momentous occasions of the 20th Century, but so few people outside the Czech Republic region know about, remember, or appeciate its significance.
