Something smells about this sob story. Yes, the guy has an outstanding murder arrest warrant from Mexico, but the wife claims it is a case of mistaken identity.

OK, maybe so, maybe not. But surveillance video from the gas station where the guy was arrested shows him pulling up to the pumps, then is surrounded by two other cars and is taken down.

Was ICE tailing the guy, waiting for an opportune moment to arrest him? They sure didn't just show up because he was pumping gas without a visa.

If he was already under surveillance by ICE, the entire sob story goes out the window.

I heard on the radio news today (just before Rush came on) that the guy had been under surveillance for a couple of days. As I remember the story, the authorities had been watching his residence and were planning to take him into custody once he left.
