None of it appeared to faze Babyface, a man who was wearing a bright red dress with snake boots. He was there for a cause: to stop the completion of the Bayou Bridge Pipeline. Numerous protesters just like him have been camping in the Atchafalaya Basin for months in their attempt to prevent work on the pipeline. A predominant strategy of the protesters is to physically stand in the way of construction, forcing employees to stop until law enforcement is able to forcibly move them out of harms way.

The goofy thing is: a modern pipeline is by far the safest way to move crude oil.

Sounds like the kind of guy who really, really wants to camp in the woods and wear a red dress.
Oh, and the ... what was it? Oh, that's right the pipeline. Gotta stop the ... pipeline. Or whatever. And wear a red dress. In the woods.

I guess the use of the term “woods” is pretty loose in this case. Although there are areas that dry out on occasion.

The goofy thing is: a modern pipeline is by far the safest way to move crude oil. Yes, but these guys want to stop all use of oil. It is insane, but they are not interested in sanity.
