I have long recognized that there are no journalists left in Turkey. (They are in jail, exiled, or dead) But this is revealing how that corruption connects to the US.

Turkey, AKP, ex-US ambassador, Washington (Com)Post?

This is a very well written Kemalist source (based outside Turkey) article with link to the Washington Post article that is discussed.

Foreign policy? Or global Fascism.

Has Matthew Bryza met the registration standards as a foreign lobbyist?

Remember those details are legal hurdles that tripped up Paul Manafort and Tony Podesta?

Looking at the Washington Post’s August 15 op-ed warning that “the U.S. can’t afford to lose Turkey,”

"We can't afford to lose XYZ so let's send them pallets of cash". This has been the clarion call of every US appeaser with a financial or political interest in fostering the growth of other nations at our expense for decades now.

We lost Turkey when Erdogan took over - Trump's policies are making Erdogan pay a price for opposing the US, just as he is making China pay a price for it's trade policies, and just as he is making Iran pay a price for it's destabilization of neighboring nations. We finally, at long last, have a president who puts America ahead of the interests of establishment lobbyists working for foreign governments.
