The People’s Republic of China has waded into the 2018 midterm elections, producing a propaganda video that focuses on the hardships of California farmers in the midst of a trade war between the two nations. The animated video was published in the “opinion” section of the China Global Television Network (CGTN) website. CGTN is an “international media organization” owned by China Central Television, the state television network in China.

The video depicts an almond complaining: “President Donald Trump has started a trade war against China. In retaliation, China has enacted a 50-percent combined tax on me, my friend pistachio, and other classic California produce.”

While acknowledging that the Trump administration has provided $12 billion in aid to American farmers, it alleges that California farmers have been neglected: “Midwestern farmers are not happy with the relief, wanting trade instead. At least they have aid, unlike me.”

I suppose Democrats approve of meddling and collusion when it benefits them.

It’s a free country, if the remaining farmers are stupid enough to reelect those who cut off their water the deserve the destruction they choose.

The question is not collusion, its loyalty to America. Trump is loyal, the Democrats, not a bit.

As I recall, the Democrats used to stand for the American working man (and woman). Will the Democrats abandon that stance now that President Trump is actually bringing those manufacturing jobs back?

Farmers in California know the state of California is the real enemy, and the environmental whack jobs.
The China effort will fail.

That is perfectly legal under the constitutions of the United states. Foreigners are not prohibited to speak freely in this country, nor is anyone prohibited from same. Russia was legally permitted to buy all the Facebook ads it wanted under our constitution. By the way, you don’t have to read that crap. It doesn’t mysteriously enter your brain and control you like a zombie.
Where is this “interference: nonsense going? I will tell you where it is going. The motive is to stifle and make ILLEGAL your free political speech, if you differ with democrat socialism , as “fake news” or “interfering with elections”. Don’t doubt me on this. Some have suggested that it goes so far as to portend the end of elections because they are “interfered with” . China can do all the free speech it wants in the US , just like Israel or any other country. If you don’t like it don’t read it. But be damned sure you don’t prohibit it or, besides violating the constitution , you will prohibiting YOUR speech.

It’s poorly done, poorly narrated, too long and with poor animation. If china thinks this is going to work they are nuts.

Yup. You’re exactly right. Anyone including foreigners is allowed to say whatever they want in America. Our government is founded on the idea that people can sift through the noise and make the right decisions.

well stated. I am amazed at this leftist ploy and it gets taken seriously . It scares me that people are so ignorant of the free speech right in this country. Removing Alex Jones on three social media in one day. What absurdity. For what? Speech they didn’t like? They sell to anyone but conservatives or non socialists in the stream if their billion dollar commerce. I really never liked Jones so I simply go elsewhere. I don’t need facebook to protect my brain.
