“The War Between the States was indeed a Civil War.”

No, it wasn’t.

It was a war between the United States of America and the Confederate States of America, two separate and distinct countries.

A civil war must be between two factions within the same country.

I’m not as eloquently spoken as some. I tend to wield a Warhammer when I’m talking heh.

I’ve always stated that war was about consolidating power in DC. Then the usual suspects come out yelling about slavery.

What? Where are you getting this stuff? Who were the founders of this "confederate States of America"?. Did they have their own constitution? Who wrote it?
