Each child will end up having no siblings, no cousins, no aunts or uncles. However, each child may have two parents to care for in old age, with no assistance unless that child marries. Too many males, not enough females to marry. How nurturing is that male to care for elders? China does indeed have a big problem of its own making. Each family has a very slim family tree to draw from for support.
And a huge population of men who have no women would never lead to problems. At least they have jobs...oh wait...maybe not.
