Less than a week after making a stink about freedom of the press, President Trump and 'enemies of the people, CNN and apparently other news outlets have decided to get into the harassment business given that reporting news is just not good enough for them.
Seriously, they tried to do this:
In a motion filed in federal court on Thursday, CNN and several other media outlets requested that the court release the names and home addresses of all jurors in the Paul Manafort fraud case. Jurors haven not yet rendered a verdict on any of the 18 charges against Manafort, who briefly served as President Donald Trump’s campaign manager in 2016.
The motion — filed on behalf of CNN, Washington Post, BuzzFeed, POLITICO, New York Times, NBC Universal, and the Associated Press — asks the court to provide to the media organizations the full names and home addresses of the men and women who were summoned and selected by the federal government to serve as jurors in Manafort’s fraud case.
Wow. So now they've gotten into the jury-tampering business. They're more interested in who the jury is than the court trial itself.
And that may well be because they suspect Manafort, whose real crime seems to be serving as Donald Trump's campaign manager, will walk.
While I am not sure of that, given that the evidence that Manafort hid money a decade ago in a crime completely unrelated to his management of President Trump's campaign looks rather strong, three things stand out to me:
One, the judge told one of the frustrated prosecutors that he had tears in his eyes, which the guy didn't like, suggesting that he wasn't getting his way and he was unhappy about it.

Appalling.
1) The judge told one of the frustrated prosecutors that he had tears in his eyes, which the guy didn’t like, suggesting that he wasn’t getting his way and he was unhappy about it.
2) The Manafort team decided to rest its case without calling witnesses, which suggests they thought the case the determined prosecutors brought didn’t look too good.
3) One of the jurors asked the judge what the definition of ‘reasonable doubt was.
All of that adds up to a case in trouble.
They should have caught was he was doing a decade ago, not now. The only reason they didn’t bother was because one of the Podesta brothers was also involved, and apparently that meant protection for all of them, gag. So prosecute the lazy prosecutors. Because if prosecutors were serious about this case, they’d have done something a long time ago.
Doxing of jurors should be a crime.
This action is meant as a message to the jurors (were going to know who you are and where you and your family live)...have no doubt of that.
Someone should DOXX Cnn anchors. I’m tired of this evil!
By their reasoning, CNN should make all their reporters attach to each article their addresses and home phone numbers along with pictures of their kids and which schools they attend.
After doing my duty as a citizen it would have been awful to get harassed or possibly killed for doing my job.
Outrageous. Trump needs to make a HUGE issue of this. It looks bad even to lots of folk who are not partial to him.
This is beyond the pale - the press wants to report on a conviction, not an acquittal, and they want the jury to know if they don’t do what they want, they will expose them and their families. What other possible reason could their be for them to want to know who the jurors are?
Exactly - there is no other reason for it.
Where are the names and addresses of the CNN goons suing?? Inquiring minds may want to know.
How about some Trump-aligned group suing to obtain the names and addresses of the contributors on Strzok’s GoFundMe page?
They were probably going to pass them on to ANTIFA.
CNN obviously wants to make the jurors into targets for their Antifa wackos. Not a good idea.
Yup. I was on a jury that put a gang member in prison for 15 years. If we knew we would have been exposed he would have walked free.
Total intimidation AND interference. Basically jury tampering.
The jurors would know that that is they vote to convict, they’ll be praised. If not, they’ll be harassed.
This is one of those things that are so outrageous that I can’t even believe it’s real.
The names will be leaked,Judge Ellis will declare a mistrial and the media publishing the leaks will be held in contempt
Sounds good to me!
Does the public have the names and addresses of all CNN employees?
