And who defines the truly faithful? RCs are not to be as evangelicals who ascertain the validity of church teaching, as well as who is faithful, based on their judgment, but they are to look to leadership to do so.
And when liberal proabortion, prohomosexual souls are manifestly considered members in life and in death, then that defines what canon law means. As when a Ted Kennedy is given a church funeral.

I so admire your namesake (the prophet Daniel in the lion’s den!) And your urgent pursuit of the truth in all instances...but we likely will not see eye to eye on this issue. From childhood onward, I have been shepherded by both Catholics and Evangelicals towards the Gospel, to the salvation found only in Christ...And continue to be fed the meat of faith in both contexts. I praise God I have been spared abuse in either context.
Noted. And just who is going to administer justice in this earthly sphere? Who, eh? What perpertator is actually going to confess to The Father, let alone to men, truly repent, resign from the (unbiblical) clergy, serve out an appropriate sentence separating one from normal society, eh what?<<p?
