What you really should b outraged over is that this is a milatary that is supposed to deploy anywhere; anytime, but it takes them a year to think about deploying a parade? How hard is a parade.

This has nothing to do with how fast the military can be deployed, and it's got nothing to do with how long it takes to deploy a parade. A parade is hard, but, they've been working on the idea and parade for about a year.

Like I stated in my prior post, this is about taking away a potential weapon from democrats about wasting money and time and manpower, which would have happened just before the elections. For all we know, the parade was prepared to be deployed, but, the elections are more important and we needed to take away a potential talking-point from the democrats.

So you are saying that most Americans would frown on a parade honoring American Veterans to the point of voting for Democrats in the midterms? How many would vote for Republicahs for initiating a parade to honor them? Screw the criticism of small minded people and do the right thing. The military has withstood 100 years of foreign wars, too many instances of political meddling and idiotic limitations by Washington, social engineering, budget cuts and disrespect by those it protects. Let them have a parade. I’ll be there.
