A shelf company is one that is incorporated, but then that transacts no business until a later time. It is “put on the shelf.”

If you need to ask, you've got it.

Best answer! The act of asking proves reasonable doubt. I think "Would you bet your life on it?" would help further define it.

These are not what the prosecution wants the jury to be asking.

My understanding is the jury verdict must be unanimous. If that’s true, I predict Manafort won’t be found guilty.

The jury instructions define reasonable and the defense should have beaten that to death in closing, especially if that is their sole defense. By the time they retire, the jury should have no doubt what a reasonable doubt is.

If you have to ask what it means, then you have it.

How about a doubt that you can’t reason your way out of?

"If you need to ask, you've got it.

If a juror is asking for a definition, he apparently does not consider himself a reasonable person.

Manafort will be convicted, no doubt in my mind..this is ALL about getting Trump..otherwise he would have never been prosecuted, please, tax evasion, a usual slap on the wrist, but Manafort can get 300 years in prison..because he did something horrible according to the left, and that is working for Donald Trump to get him elected..meanwhile Jihadist scum bags in New Mexico walk free and they murdered their 3 year old child and taught their remaining children to be school shooters but hey, they are Muslim so its all good

“Isn’t it up to the jury to determine what reasonable doubt is?”

Not the legal definition, but you hit on the important part anyway - if the jurors believe their doubt qualifies as being it, that’s all that matters.

Interesting fact that in the rules of evidence, the judge is not allowed to define that. The lawyers, in closing, both try to shape the definition, but it is left to the jury by design.
There will be no definition provided to this jury.
