President Trump mocked Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday for saying America “was never that great.”
“ ‘WE’RE NOT GOING TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, IT WAS NEVER THAT GREAT.’ Can you believe this is the Governor of the Highest Taxed State in the U.S., Andrew Cuomo, having a total meltdown!” Trump tweeted in the wake of Cuomo’s gaffe.
Cuomo tweeted back at Trump 25 minutes later: “What you say would be `great again’ would not be great at all.”
“We will not go back to discrimination, segregation, sexism, isolationism, racism or the KKK,” Cuomo continued. “Like NY’s motto says: Excelsior – Ever Upward (not backward).”

If only that remark would kill his chance of being re-elected governor!!! I sure wish I could create commercials for all Republicans running against these damned traitors! Newt said it best - our message needs to be run NATIONALLY - not race by race.
Not with that idiotic public comment, he isn't. That's the kind of gaffe that ends a political career. It won't hurt him in a Marxist state like New York, but the rest of this country is filled with former New Yorkers who have just been reminded loud and clear why they left that sh!t-hole in the first place.

The Biker Shoot by Waco PD, subsequently defended here for more than a year by one one or more local LEO using “small”, “medium” and “large” caliber adjectives, personal attacks and propaganda to support the narrative that the bikers “deserved to be killed”.

Obama was never proud of his country till it elected him. He served 2 terms.
This was most likely a trial balloon and he was shocked by his audiences reaction (hence his rumored walk-back of this statement).
Andy Cuomo should recall his birth father Pope Mario the Pious, who ignored frantic pleas from the DNC to run for President, saying that he was “too ethnic, too urban, too liberal, and too Northeast” to appeal to the great unwashed masses west of the Hudson River.
For this, the Dems labeled Mario “Hamlet on the Hudson”. He even turned down a SCOTUS seat from Bill Clinton as he was bent on being NY governor-for-life until he was defeated in 1994.
Cuomo doesn’t have the natural talent to be a great slimeball politician, like Billy Clinton. When the gasps rose from the audience, his response was because..women! A great democrat would have thrown in as many of the aggrieved classes he could muster with one breath.
This comes from a guy who killed the political career of a black, disabled man, who was the incumbent governor of New York and would have become the first elected black governor in our nation's history if not for Cuomo's claim to the throne. The man's name is David Paterson. He became governor by succession when Elliot Spitzer resigned in disgrace in 2008. As a liberal incumbent from NYC with a long line of political connections, Paterson would have probably won the 2010 gubernatorial election, except for one problem: Cuomo's desire to run for governor. With the help of Obama, Cuomo pushed Paterson out of the race and out of politics.
The moral of the story: Cuomo hates black and disabled people.
Cuomo has the moral fiber of a serpent. His entire political history has been one of giving away the store to the losers and scum of society while penalizing those who work hard to support themselves and their families. His latest brainstorm, enabling felons to vote and then allowing them to register right there in jail, clearly shows how low the dummocraps are scraping the barrel for votes. Next, they’ll walk through the grassy aisles at cemeteries with clipboards, signing up the dead to vote, and then they’ll station themselves in certain neighborhoods chock full of illegals and wave a magic wand to register them to vote, too. Why shouldn’t someone from Trinidad or Mexico be able to assume the privileges of a U.S. citizen by sneaking across our border? Cuomo is a total meltdown, it’s a fact. He’s a crook, a commie, and a danger to the health of citizens.

Most people of Italian extraction whose families came here in the late 19th and early 20th centuries are hard working, rock ribbed conservatives. The same can’t be said of the New England-Mid Atlantic wasps who gave in to the left and brought socialism to America.
The Cuomo family are a bunch of self serving bastards who crave money and power ahead of liberty. They will appear to kiss any asses they think will give them that.
Cuomo trying to separate himself from that wacko Cynthia Nixon at the same time as he's "resisting" Trump is an impossible task.
Attacking Trump with all the things the democRATS are guilty of. Projection is strong with Cuomo.
With Trump fighting back with one arm tied behind his back á la Rush Limbaugh, he brings out the true sentiments of the Left. "America was never great" is a good example.
