Simon and Schuster is a subsidiary of CBS. The entanglement between fake books and fake news is a phenomenon that pervades the various sectors of the media as reporters write and report on books.

That is what happens when one entity is allowed to control major segments of related components across an entire nation's markets. Publish books? Own your own critics and reporters. Own radio stations? Own your own record labels. Better yet, Own all four... and throw in some television networks and/or movie studios. And cable channels/providers. And maybe a side helping of social media platforms.

"...fake books..."

My feeling is many of these ghost-written books are some sort of leftwinger money laundering scam.
There are undoubtedly crates upon crates of books “sold” yet sit in a warehouse collecting dust and never read.
Money changes hands and is now freshly laundered, old books get turned to pulp and recycled.

Like Gayle King on CBS this morning selling Amarosa's book during a interview segment on a supposed news show?? It's a parody, a fake infomercial.
