Tell my wife that “crops thrive” in warmer climates. LOL!

Since we moved down to Georgia from Pennsylvania, we notice that the insects eat more vegetables than we do (growing organically).

Otherwise we really love the warmer weather in Northeast Georgia. Winters are so mild and even July and August are not so bad if you have air conditioning.

But I can’t brag too much because all my relatives live up north in Boston area. They have a short growing season, but at least the vegetable growing seems much better in New England.

The global forecasters can’t even guess how many hurricanes we’ll see a few months out.

Their “models” suck because the variables are too many.

And scientists also predict cold winters, thus proving climate change is Trump’s fault.

“The study finds a 58 percent chance that Earth’s overall temperature from 2018 through 2022 will be anomalously warm based on these factors.”

That means a 42% chance it will be colder. And given a reasonable Margin Of Error, that means this signifies doodily squat

The study mines data from 10 existing climate change models, or simulations...

They're using 10 failed existing climate change models.

LOL!

Same here in Kuwait. Actually pleasant, when it’s not sandstorming.

I predict that the weather will remain warm for another 2-3 weeks then we will see a cooling trend.

After the winters here end, the kilt goes on!

Fraoch Eilean!

(The coat of arms of the current chief of Clan Donald includes the motto “Fraoch Eilean” which is set “on a compartment of rocks and heather proper issuant from the waves”. The isle is the location of Claig Castle)

“anomalously warm,” even beyond what the steady increase in global warming would produce on its own.

Ok, so what is the RIGHT average temperature for the Earth, and I’ll give you +/- 1 degree (meaning if you say 75F, it should be 74-76F). I’ll wait.

What is the right humidity?

What is the right PPM for CO2?

When these “scientists” can tell these things, then I’ll start to believe them. But, as has been said, a cat having kitties in an oven doesn’t make them biskits.

“The past four years have been the four warmest ever recorded.”
———
According to climatologists, 2016 had a 37% chance of being “the warmest on record”.

Funny numbers...trivial differences on a warming trend more than a century long.
