Florida is having these issues with medical marijuana. The state mandated only a very few licensed growers who would have control over the entire distribution. State judge has just thrown that out saying the law creating this did not restrict the number of licenses. Then there is a prohibition against smoked marijuana which again is in court because there is no restriction other than in public places.
This comes back to the antis trying to stop what was already approved.
It’s going to be another 7 to 10 years before all these phony obstacles are removed. Sort of the way it may have been after Prohibition was stopped.
MJ growers do need to learn how to share the local water and re-nourish the soils after a harvest. They must learn to respect property rights of other landowners. There have been Brown-Outs around Modesto due to growers using so much energy to provide light for their sprouts. So both sides need to learn about cooperation.
