Nearly identical to the demonization and character assassination of George Zimmerman, the "White Hispanic" by the same process.
There wasn't a reversal, and it's self defense law not stand your ground law.
The procedure is that they can't arrest unless they have probable cause of a crime. In other words, probable cause that it wasn't self defense. The Sheriff was unwilling to make that determination and left it to the prosecutors.
This had nothing to do with stand your ground.
