George Webb Lead Investigator Dies Mysteriously
Just like this poor girl: FR: Woman Investigating Clinton Foundation Crimes Found Dead (Monica Peterson)
there has been no further investigation into her death, as far as I know?

I still say that not allowing priests to marry set the church up for a disaster.
I agree completely. Also, in some poor communities and places were there was little other chance of employment or advancement, I'm sure many took the to the priesthood as a way of putting food on the table; but then the ban on marriage piled up other frustrations...

Since the credible accusations go back so far, undoubtedly many have already died. Of those older ones still alive, the statute of limitations may have expired for many. So the short answer is “no”.

Those who have been credibly accused in recent years will have been reported to authorities according to the charter developed in Dallas by the bishops. It is of some interest that that charter was directed to child abusing priests and deacons but did not address the bishops themselves.

Some of what will unfold in Pennsylvania will be what happened in Minnesota, I.e., legislative attempts to roll back the statute of limitations to allow for civil actions against the priests and dioceses. There’s money involved here.

Just the same, it’s my hope that all of these events contribute to a purging of abusers from the church.

In that respect, may it take as long as it takes and cost as much as it costs for that to happen.

Note: This is not an anti-Catholic thread. It is an anti-pervert thread.

These monsters are making a hostile takeover of the Church.

They've already succeeded in taking over the church. It's just a matter of time before Frankie the lowlife scumbag Marxist thug ends the charade and declares homosexuality to be God's will and makes acceptance of homosexuals church doctrine. Just look at the Episcopalians. They're already there. It's just a short matter of time before the catholic church is there as well.

Just more dead bodies related to the Clintons.

Just like the three that dropped dead just before Hillary got nominated. Seth Rich was but just one.....

Warning: Don’t click on the link unless you have a strong stomach.

One of the priests profiled was assigned to the parish where I grew up. The details are sickening.

Fortunately I wasn’t an altar boy and had little direct contact with him.

Then Pope Francis better get ready to tell God to say sorry to both Sodom and Gomorrah.

When most of these crimes occurred Pennsylvania had a two-year statute of limitations.

They changed the law, and now a case can be pursued if it is reported before the victim turns 50.

Only 2 cases are actually being prosecuted as a result of this report because the abuse happened after that change. The new statute of limitations cannot be applied retroactively.

I bet they attempt to legislate “look back” laws that allow retrospective extension of the statute of limitations. That’s what happened in Minnesota and I bet it happens here. It allows previously expired cases to be civilly tried.

The report cites 301 priests, clergy and lay teachers with credible allegations against them.
There are 99 in the Diocese of Pittsburgh alone.

Of those 99, a group of four groomed and violently sexually assaulted young boys, said Shapiro.

“One boy was forced to stand on a bed in a rectory, strip naked and pose as Christ on the cross
for the priests. They took photos of their victim, adding them to a collection of child pornography
which they produced and shared on church grounds,” Shapiro said.

Shapiro said the priests would mark their victims by giving them gifts.

“To make it easier to target their victims, the priests gave their favored boys gifts –
gold crosses to wear as necklaces. The crosses were markings of which boys had
been groomed for abuse,” Shapiro said.

Yeah, that did occur to me but too late. The metaphor is limping quite badly almost like Hephaistos or as the after thought of Epimetheus.

I was an altar boy for seven years (age 11-17). Diocese of Pittsburgh. Must have met or served for 20-25 different priests, monsignors, bishops.

Never once did I see anything like they are saying.

I wonder how many teachers have had incidents during that time frame?

What better way would satan have to attack God's church

God's church is fine. The man-made religion called Catholicism has always been involved with Satan.
