I don't know how old you are but in my life time NOTHING is going to replace the efficiency of oil and derivatives gasoline and jet fuel.
"A lithium-ion battery, at its best, packs 110 watt-hours of energy per pound. Gasoline has 6,000 watt-hours per pound.
