I do not support a constitutional convention in any way, shape or form.
There are ways to add (or subtract) to (from) the constitution without out opening that can of worms. And any changes would made by the convention would still have to be ratified by the states. So why bother.
Personally I would repeal the amendment that allowed vote for Senator. Return Senators to the State governments to select.
Second I would return the voting age back to 21.
Third - make it so simply being born in this country does not make you a citizen - you need at least one parent who is a citizen first.
No guarantees a new constitution would be an improvement. The left could very well hi-jack the process. Who in the GOP would stand up to them? The republic would be doomed for sure.
The reason for all of the concern is because there are a few blue states left in the union.

Now, if you wish to discuss a convention of the states, as set forth in Article Five, and furthermore, if you will do the research and get your facts straight, then we have something to discuss and get behind, as we have already done in Georgia.

For a Convention of the States dedicated to Georgia’s application language, which would re-balance citizens’ rights versus federal power and state power, the count is 12 down, 22 to go.
For a Convention of the States dedicated to a balanced budget amendment only, the count is 30 down, 4 to go.
The problem is the lawlessness and the lying nature of the Left, not some shortcoming in or paucity of law.
If we can’t follow the Constitution that we have, what is the point? And if we just follow the Constitution we have, there is no need.
