As annoyed as I am with Sessions’ apparent behavior, nothing would make me happier for your theory to be correct. I would admit I was wrong about him and be glad about that!
Sessions damn sure is aware that Rosenstein was in on the FISA warrant. He should at least be going through the firing process of Rosenstein.

I don’t know about his pride. I believe Sessions is so sanctimonious, self-righteous and stubborn that he would never, under any circumstances, willingly leave.
At this point, I don’t even care if he IS somehow working undercover taking down HRC and the deep state.
He is so blatantly and unconstitutionally aggressive wrt asset forfeiture (and mj), I suspect the FF would still consider him an enemy of Liberty. JMHO.
For Sessions, for both words and deeds, he's a big fat zero when comes to all the Deep State matters that he's recused on.
