I’ve ___ALWAYS___ hated the songs “Lola”, “Rebel Rebel” and “Take a Walk on the Wild Side”.

.... and I grew up in the 70s.

I take it you're not referring to Lola by the Chessmen (1961), Rebel by Carol Jarvis (1957) or Walk on the Wild Side by Brook Benton (1962). Those '70's titles are probably something that I would rather not hear.

The '70's spanned my teens and 20's, but I only followed the contemporary music scene haphazardly.
