This is outrageous that a college would look at your Social Media.
Who you like politically is all subjective. Only an Auhoritrlarn control freaks would say their is only one political opinion and everything else is hate.
Completely insane!
Most employers do now. Many have as part of their application process a background check that does a deep dive in all social and online presence.
Background checks are not about parking tickets and DUI arrests anymore.
