Remember when we were terrorized as kids that we are all going to FREEZE due to the new Ice Age?
And then we have to question if federal environmental regulations are based on constitutionally enumerated powers.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. I am in South Carolina and we have had stretches decades ago of over 100 degree days for long periods. What we are having this summer is mostly below normal highs with some exceptions. I can’t remember the last time it got hot enough to make an asphalt parking lot begin to turn sticky but I have certainly seen it happen long ago.
