Misery lives company. Lots of people with less get their yayas trying to stick it to people who have a bit more. The folks with lots more will rarely get stuck, but that’s okay as long as someone else does.
Eventually, the people who work simply will decide it is not worth it to work hard, to innovate and to create in order to support someone else who contributes little or nothing to the public good. Once that threshold is crossed, the destruction of our economy and way of life will accelerate and become unstoppable. By then, the socialists (communists) will have seized control of all levels of government and will not hesitate to maintain control by force, if necessary, or by nationalizing key industries, including farming, and implementing “Five Year Plans” a la Stalin.
