Before the election we were in line behind a lady at Aldi’s waiting g to check out. Somehow we started to talk to her about our chickens and raised her gardens. So I guess she figured we were the Kumbayah crowd.
At one point she leaned into me and whispered “we are terrified Trump will win”. I whispered back “we are terrified he won’t”. The look of horror and confusion on her face was priceless. Needless to say we all checked out with no further conversation.
