Socialist ideas are growing on college campuses at a rapid pace.
The Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) organization claims to have gone from just 15 campus chapters in 2016 to 250 today, the Leadership Institute’s Campus Reform reported Tuesday.
The YDSA claimed to have reflected this growth on their website’s recognized chapter list.
“Currently, we've received over 250 campuses register for the fall drive! This explosion in interest shows that this semester will be the biggest ever for YDSA. We will be able to build a mass movement for democratic socialism and justice at campuses across the country,” they state.

250 chapters of and by itself is fairly meaningless.
Of those chapters, how many of them have more than say
20 members? How many of those members are active, e.g.
attend meetings etc.
If people actually speak to Millenials, they'll find there are MANY that aren't pod-eating Antifa-loving dolts. Many of them, among other things, don't WANT want other people's stuff. To be sure, they are probably more libertarian than your average Deplorable and, for example, may bring a few gay friends who won't hit on you, or sober pot legalization fans, out to the range with them.
If people can get around those elements then they can open 500 Socialist chapters. It won't matter...some men, you can't reach but the kids are getting smarter. The Dems will misread the news and keep putting up loser candidates that repel Americans. Trump is thus guaranteed to destroy whoever they put up in 2020 AND we'll have a Red Wave this November.

You’re right - this is nothing new. For decades, colleges have been filled with people who delay adulthood - it is four more years of high school (at least), and four more years of excuses as to why they aren’t working.
I could only attend a commuter school; ageing hippies trying to rally students to save whales were met with polite indifference. The only people dorming there were foreigners, and they probably thought whales were delicious.
The irony is palpable.

Spoiled kids expect things to be given to them. They know nothing about how the real world works.
If they want unlimited free stuff they should just stay in their parents’ homes for years. Oh, wait, they already do that.

Yes, I go back to my favorite millennial bartender/barista (who does fairly well by the way): “only about 5% of the people who like socialism know what it really is.”
These campus students are the same ones who just finished spending 18 years of their lives sucking off Mommy and Daddy for clothes, food, shelter, transportation, video games, and every other aspect of their lives.
They’re now going to college, probably still sponging off of their parents for pizza money, book money, tuition, room and board, and the occasional spring break trip to Daytona Beach, who are just now realizing that the gravy train is about to end, and the prospect of having to fend for themselves, and start making rent payments, grocery payments, insurance payments, and student loan payments have them scared sh!tless.
They want the party to continue, and have everything spoon-fed to them.
However, I don’t blame the kids. I blame the generation of helicopter parents who dragged them from arranged play dates to soccer practice, and never instilled a sense of independence or self-reliance in their offspring.

Public school indoctrination has worked as planned.
Not enough experience in life to know much about the world, they will change with time like we all did. We can only hope!
Free stuff is always a big draw to freeloaders.
Defund any colleges which promote socialism. Now!
