FULL TITLE: Unarmed but on the attack: Body-camera video shows how mans 3-minute encounter with police turned fatal
The three-minute video, recorded from a camera attached to a police officers chest, begins calmly.
In the middle of an afternoon, the officer walks down a pathway and onto a residential street in Montgomery County, just north of Washington. About 40 feet ahead of Officer Anand Badgujar is a man seen from the back walking in the same direction.
Hey, big man, Badgujar calls out, according to the body-camera footage made public for the first time Wednesday. You need to stop.
Things turned chaotic. The man suddenly rushed toward the officer as the officer drew his gun. Do it! Do it! the man yelled. The officer spun around, ran onto a yard and steadied himself. The man came at him again, then retreated down the pathway.
The encounter that followed stretched along several blocks, with the two men sometimes close, sometimes keeping their distance before ending in one of at least 33 fatal police shootings of unarmed people in the country this year. It prompted a criminal investigation of the officer, which ended last week when Howard County prosecutors, who were reviewing the case, cleared him of wrongdoing.
~snip~
I do not want to shoot you! the officer can be heard saying three different times. At least 21 times, White can be heard shouting, Do it! After being shot the first time, White fell, got up and yelled, Do it again!

No, you don’t. Or talk to them either.
Or you might end up dead . . .
Video at link
Keep reading. That was the "victim's" intent.
“...what drugs White was on...”
The last was lead poisoning.
Act as a savage, get treated as one.
“I wonder what drugs White was on.”
I don’t know, but I need Dramamine after watching that video.
The office had his baton out, and is heard saying it might be a suicide by cop thing.
Really sucks for the dead guy, and the officer, but I don’t see anything in the video that the officer did incorrectly.
Even without any reason to suspect that you’ve done anything wrong, a police officer can approach you to ask questions and ask to search you or your objects (such as a purse or briefcase). As long as the officer doesnt suggest that you are legally compelled to talk or agree to a search, the officer has done nothing wrong. (United States v. Drayton, 536 U.S. 194 (2002).) At the same time, you generally aren’t required to answer a police officers questions or allow an officer to search your person or your belongings.
Maybe suicide by cop?

Why did Washington Compost write a story about this shooting? I just wonder. It looks to me, clean shooting by Police
Fine line between being bothered to being killed. Terry stops are clear in the articulable aspect of authority to stop and frisk... Torn jacket, hands in pocket don’t do it for me.
The link is demanding I “whitelist” The Washington Post before I can do anything - well, THAT isn’t going to happen.
To give the left another unreasonable reason to riot.
The Compost keeps track of unarmed black men shot by cops.
This will be added to that list. The fact that the black man deserved to be shot will be made moot by the editors.
Here’s how to handle those horribly annoying “Whitelist” notices. When one pops up, simply put your Ad Blocker on pause, reload the page, and immediately turn your Ad Blocker back on. Bit of a nuisance, but, so far, it’s been 100% effective for me and only takes a couple of seconds. Once you are on the page with the blocker turned off, they cannot check you again. No need to whitelist them.
“Continue viewing for $1”? Why even post?
Screw the Amazon Post.
Pretty clear case of suicide-by-cop.
Anon callers called 911 reporting that man was firing gun. They gave good descriptions (silver 9mm handgun). That’s a pretty important part of the story.
